Where Our Puppies are Raised
I am an in-home breeder. All of my dogs live in my house - not in kennels. I convert part of my home into a puppy room when there is a new litter. At first, we keep a temperature controlled whelping box for mom and the babies, and a bed for me to sleep next to the litter for the first three weeks so I can keep a close eye on everyone and help the puppies get the hang of nursing.

After three weeks, we dedicate part of the kitchen area to the puppies and start to let them run around the house to play with the family and the other dogs at about 4-5 weeks. In the puppy play area they use artificial grass trays.
